Katie Holmes

Born two months premature, Katie Holmes is the daughter of Kathleen Ann, a philanthropist and Martin Holmes, a lawyer. It is reported that her strong-willed personality is probably due to her premature birth. Right from her teenage, she attended the modeling school and was encouraged by her teacher to participate in modeling competitions where she won several awards. After bagging several awards, she said she was not interested in modeling as it was not challenging enough and it is important to mention here that she also enrolled in acting classes while modeling.

When she was seventeen-year-old, she moved to Los Angeles to seek chances on the silver screen. Because of her will-powered nature (or by luck), she landed a cast in her second audition itself and joined the crew of The Ice Storm.
