Jon Hurwitz

Jonathan Benjamin Hurwitz, also known as Jon Hurwitz is an American screenwriter. He was born on November 15, 1997. His height is 6’ 1 and is presently 38 years of age. His sun sign is a Sagittarius. He was born and brought up in Randolph, a city in New Jersey. There he attended the Randolph High School. Later, he graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. During his time at the high school, he along with Hayden Schlossberg prepared their first ever script titled Filthy. They later sold it to MGM while they Hurwitz was attending college at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Schlossberg was at the University of Chicago, where he was a history major and was planning on attending a law school. Once they sold their script Filthy to MGM, they moved to California and started their career in Hollywood. Together they have written the screenplay for the Hollywood comedy movie series Harold and Kumar. They have penned Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay and Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. In addition to this, they have several projects-in-progress such as Grandma vs. Grandma, which will be produced by Paramount Pictures and another movie called 21 Shots, which was produced by Montecito Pictures. In addition to working as a screenwriter, he is also a producer and a director as well. From the Harold and Kumar series he had directed and produced Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay in 2008, Harold and Kumar Go to Amsterdam in 2008 and A very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas in 2011. He has also directed American Reunion in 2012, a sequel to the American Pie. He married the American Reunion actress Randy Hurwitz in 2007. Now the couple have a daughter together who is named Elizabeth Shea Hurwitz.
