Bob Harper

Robert Bob Harper was born in Tennessee on 18th August, 1965. He is an American, and by profession, he is an author and personal trainer. Harper isn’t a graduate, though he was in Austin Peay State University. He has been appearing as a trainer in all the seventeen seasons of “The Biggest Loser”. This show is about how much percentage of weight contestants lose with respect to their initial weight, and the winner takes home a cash prize. He has been in the show since its debut in 2004, and has appeared in various workout DVDs of the Biggest Loser. Harper has not only been a trainer in the show, but has also been a trainer to various celebrities.

Harper takes regular classes as a teacher in Los Angeles, and has also been a yoga trainer, apart from being a personal trainer. In 2010, Bob Harper became a vegetarian after reading “Skinny Bitch”, and received various awards that year. He was even awarded the Sexiest Vegetarian Award by PETA, but he gave up his vegan diet in 2013. His first workout DVD release was “Bob Harper: Inside Out Method”. Harper was a cast in Melissa Etheridge’s album, “Breakdown”, for the track, “Angels would Fall”.

Harper is an animal lover and he has adopted, from Animal Advocate Alliance, a black and white dog. Bob hosted the seventeenth season of the Biggest Loser on 8th September, 2015. Harper has been the #1 bestselling author, three times on the charts, in the New York Times. Harper has presented his workouts on the Shape magazine website. In the fifteenth season of the Biggest Loser, Harper publicly came out about his sexuality, stating that he is a gay, when one of the contestants was having the problem of conveying his sexuality to his parents. Harper said that he revealed his sexuality to his parents when he was seventeen years old, but never came out publicly and announced to the world. This was the first time in his life when he exposed the truth to the world. Harper was also part of the Australian version of the Biggest Loser (Australia). Bob Harper is currently 50 years old, yet he still has the charm and fitness every youth inspires to become.
