Jean Paul Gaultier

Jean Paul Gaultier is an English fashion designer who was born on 24 April 1952 in Arcueil, France. He is also titled as enfant terrible of the fashion industry.

For the French luxury house Hermes, he was the creative director who worked for seven years and took retirement on his 50th anniversary in January 2020 in the show during Paris Fashion Week. He gained knowledge of fashion through his grandmother and when he was a child he get inspired by the clothing design of many magazines and fashion televisions and later he started to make his drawing.

While he was just 18 years old, he started working in the fashion house of Pierre Cardin. Later he worked with many noted designers and in 1976 he released his first collection of women's fashion. For her work in the revolution of society, he also received the title of Knight of the Legion of Honor, which was one of the highest honors of France in 2001.
