Eric Stoltz

Eric Stoltz was born Eric Cameron Stoltz on 30th September in 1961 in the Whittier region in California. Eric has played the role of a director, producer and an actor in his career of more than three decades in the film industry. He is of English, German and Scottish origin. Taking after his mother who was a school teacher and a Violinist, he started to play piano at the young age of fourteen for “Mame”, for a local musical theatre production which starred Anthony Edwards. He became friends with Anthony during this time, and they both later attended the University of Southern California and stayed together as roommates.

In his junior year, Eric dropped out to join a repertory company with which he did ten shows in Scotland at the Edinburgh Festival. He worked in films like “The Waterdance” in 1992, “Pulp Fiction” in 1994, etc. He also appeared in Broadway shows like “Two Shakespearean Actors”, “Two Sisters”, etc. and off-broadway shows like “The Glass Managerie” and “The Importance of Being Earnest”, etc. His first project as a producer was in 1997, where he produced a film titled “Mr Jealousy”.
