Milton Howery Jr. Also known as Lil Rel Howery is an American actor and comedian. He was born on the 17th of December, 1979. He is originally from the West Side of Chicago. 

Milton went to Providence St.Mel School from fifth to ninth grade. He then continued in Crane High School. When he was in school, he wrote jokes and scripted a senior talent show, which inspired him to pursue a career in comedy. He played basketball in high school and was nicknamed Lil Rel. He married to Verina Robinson, and they have two children together.

He made his debut on television in January 2007, when he participated in a reality show called ‘Last Comic Standing.’ He featured in ‘P. Diddy Presents The Bad Boys of Comedy’ on HBO. He was part of ‘America’s National Night Out against Crime’ in Chicago in 2009.

Howery and five other comedians featured in a revival of the popular comedy sketch show ‘In Living color’ on FOX in 2012. The show got canceled in 2013. Howrey worked as a writer, producer, and one of the cast members of the comedy series ‘Friends of the People’ in TruTV. He co-starred in the role of Bobby Carmichael on the NBC sitcom the ‘The Carmichael Show’ with the creator of the show Jerrod Carmichael in 2015. In 2016, he filmed his first solo standup special ‘Kevin Hart Presents: Lil Rel: RELevent,’ which is available on Netflix.

In 2018, Howrey was cast as the lead in the Fox productions of ‘REL.’ Jerrod Carmichael and Mike Scully served as the executive producers. Howrey won the ‘Best Comedic Performance’ in the MTV Movie and TV awards in 2017, for his performance in the film ‘Get Out’ created by Jordan Peele’s.
