His toughest work was to do with, ‘Everest’ because of the high altitudes, the constant headaches and breathlessness he underwent. All the equipment required for cinematography was carried upon donkeys, yaks, and about 75 sherpas. At one instance, they had to carry their equipment themselves and eventually were airlifted, along with the equipment from one spot to another. He recalled this episode and experience to have been tough but fun and memorable. All the hard work that goes behind a camera, a cinematographer will know best. Here is to Salvatore Totino for his immense hard work and all his future endeavors.
