Shaun Taylor Corbett

Shaun Taylor Corbett is an American Actor, Writer, and Singer who predominantly works in the Hollywood film industry. He was born on 6 October 1978 in the town of Jennersville in the state of Pennsylvania. Shaun Taylor Corbett is of Native American descent. His mother is the famous choreographer Lynne Taylor-Corbett, who choreographed the dance for the movie ‘ Footloose Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ (1984). His father- Mike Corbet is an established director, choreographer, and musician. The actor also has three sisters. As a result of his parents' work, Shaun Taylor Corbett spent his childhood on different movie sets and theaters and grew up surrounded by people in the film industry. Initially, his mother tried to interest him in dance, but he vehemently rebelled against it as he was more interested in drama.

Shaun Taylor Corbett acted in his first play while he was in middle school in Long Island. He played the role of Tevye in ‘Fiddler on the Roof.’ Despite how much he enjoyed the experience, Shaun Taylor Corbett initially sought to pursue a career as a Diplomat. So he pursued a bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs at the University of Delaware. While at college, he was an honors student and the president of the university’s World Peace Club during his sophomore year. Despite his more academic pursuits, Shaun Taylor Corbett did not give up on his passion for singing. In his freshman year itself, he joined the all-male acapella group known as the Y Chromes. Shaun Taylor Corbett is a talented singer and has trained under the vocal coach Shirley Callaway. After spending four years with the Y Chromes, Sean Taylor Corbett gained the confidence to try out for the play ‘Pippin’ in his final year. It was only after he landed the lead role in this play that Sean Taylor Corbett decided to pursue a career in show business.

After graduating, Shaun Taylor Corbett moved to London, where he did his postgraduate studies in Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. He has performed Shakespeare at the New York Public Theatre, Romeo in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet at the McCarter Theater, ‘ Altar Boyz’ and ‘In the Heights’ at Broadway. Shaun Taylor Corbett made his debut on the small screen in 2003 with the American version of the TV series 'Hi-5.'
