Ross McCall

Ross McCall is a Scottish actor known for starring in White Collar, Band of Brothers, and Crash.

Born in Port Glasgow, Scotland, on January 13, 1976, to parents John McCall and Maggie McCall, Ross’s family relocated to Kent, a county in England, when he was seven years of age. Ross’s father was a fire chief, while his mother was a nurse.  The actor also has a brother named Stuart, who works as a policeman in Sussex, England.

Later his parents divorced, but both of them lived in England. McCall, along with his brother, was brought up as a Roman Catholic. McCall debuted in acting at the tender age of thirteen when he appeared as Freddie Mercury in the music video for The Miracle by the rock band Queen in 1989. The video features children as Queen and the actual band members who join them later.

McCall shot to immense fame with his portrayal of Joseph Liebgott, technician fifth grade, in the 2001 war drama mini-series Band of Brothers, aired on BBC. The show brought him recognition in the U.S. the series was such a smash that it bagged Emmy and Golden Globe awards the same year it premiered.

The actor is also known for the police crime drama White Collar, which premiered in 2009 on USA Network. Ross essays the role of a thief named Matthew Keller, who is also the enemy of Neal. His character escapes from jail and attempts to steal Neal and Mozzie’s valuables.

His other works include the drama film Green Street, the sequel Green Street 2: Stand Your Ground, Autopsy, 24: Live Another Day etc.
