Masi Oka is an actor who worked for the Hollywood film industry. He was born on 27 December 1974 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Oka is also a well-known and reputed producer and digital effect artist. He made his first TV appearance on the CBS TV game show 'Child's Play' when he was eight. On the cover of TIME magazine for the article Those Asian-American Whiz Kids, he was one of the seven children featured in 1987 when he was 12 years old. Oka also represented California in a National competition named Mathcounts in 1988 and was one of the four students to represent the state of California.

He completed his graduation in 1997 and pursued BS in Computer Science and Mathematics. Apart from being a good actor, he is also a good chess player and had an excellent ELO rating of 1800. In Summer Olympics 1992, he worked as a translator in English, Spanish, and Japanese. Oka worked in more than 30 TV series including 'Dharma and Greg' in 2001, 'Sabrina The Teenage Witch' in 2002,' On The Spot' in 2003, 'Less than Perfect' in 2005, 'Good Wears My Underwear' 2005, 'Without a Trace' in 2006, The Sarah Silverman Program in 2007, 'Blue Eyes Samurai' to be announced and many others. He also worked in more than 15 movies, including Austin Powers in Goldmember in 2002, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde in 2003, The Proud Family Movie in 2005, House of the Dead 2 in 2005, Balls of Fury 2007, The Promotion in 2008, Friends with Benefits in 2011, Spies in Disguise in 2009, etc.

He can speak Japanese, English, and Spanish. At 6, he and his mother moved to Los Angeles. At eight, he participated in a TV game show named 'Child's Play.' In 1987, Oka appeared on the cover of Time magazine under the article Those Asian-American Whiz Kids. He was among the four students that represented California in MATHCOUNTS.
