Debbie Stone was blessed with a beautiful baby boy on November 20, 1984, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She named the adorable baby boy Jeremy Jordan. Jeremy is brought up in Texas with his brother Joey, and sister Jessa. His parents separated when Jeremy was very young. Debbie, his mother, raised them in a low- income housing. When Jeremy was in 7th grade, he witnessed a life-changing experience. He was in a car accident with his stepmother; sadly, his stepmother passed away. Fortunately, Jeremy survived the accident. Jeremy was injured in the accident and could not keep up with his extracurricular sports activities, so after some soul searching, the 13-year-old took up singing to pass his free time, and before he knew it singing became his muse.

The singer then broadened his horizons in high school and took up acting. By 2008 he starred in his first play, on the  Hartford Theaterworks, as Alex in The Little Dog Laughed, which got a nomination for his first acting award in the Connecticut Critics Circle. In 2010, the actor starred in Frank Wildhorn and Don Black’s famous musical Bonnie & Clyde as Clyde Barrow in a pre-broadways tryout. The next year, the actor was on Broadway for the same role and was in 36 shows for the production. Soon, Jeremy castedas Jack Kelly in Disney's world premiere production of Newsies at Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey. Shortly after, he announced he'd return to Newsies to star in its new run-on Broadway. In four months, Jeremy again started the double duty, filming his role in “Smash” and also starring in Newsies.

Jeremy married a Broadway actress Ashley Spencer in September 2012. Jeremy then appeared in the film adaptation of "The Last 5 Years," alongside Oscar and Tony nominee Anna Kendrick. Richard La Gravenese directed the cult musical by Jason Robert Brown. Jeremy also presented in clubs the show “Breaking Character”. Jordan reprised his role as Tony in the West Side Story Hollywood Bowl concerts in June 2016, alongside Karen Olivo and George Akram. His nephew sadly took his own life and that tore Jordan’s heart into pieces. Since then, the actor has also become an activist and supports the cause of stopping teenage suicides.
