ZEE Kutumba Awards is a prestigious award show on ZEE Kannada. The show is in Kannada. It is organised every year to felicitate and honour the artists, technicians, and other people who worked throughout the year to make the serials on ZEE Kannada a huge success. It is organised to acknowledge their hard work and dedication towards the channel.  The event was organised on Sunday, 8 October 2017. It was broadcast on 14 and 15 October 2017 on ZEE Kannada at 7:30 PM. It was organised at Koramangala Indoor Stadium of Bangalore. There were awards in a total of 38 categories to honour the Kannada Television industry’s talent and the viewer's appreciation. The categories included Best Jodi, Best Serial, Popular Jodi, Popular actor in male category, Popular actor in female category, Best Editor, Best Cinematographer, Best Screenplay writer, Best Director, Popular reality show, Popular Presenter, Popular Contestant, and many more. Many people were nominated for the same award and a winner was chosen through the voting by the audience. Various polling booths were constructed at various locations all over the Karnataka state. Naagini was titled as the Best Serial of this Year. Actress Lakshmi was awarded the Pride Of Zee Kannada Award. She completed 50 years in Sandalwood which was worth appreciating.

Master Anand and Anushree were the hosts of this event. Their personality and charm added sparkle to the event. Some segments were also hosted by different anchors including Director-actor Ramesh Aravind, Actress Lakshmi, Vijay Raghavendra, Navarasa Nayaka Jaggesh, Chinnari Muttha, and many more. This was the 3rd edition of the series. All these guests presented awards to the winners.
