Sruthi Hariharan is an Indian film actress and model. She has previously worked in cinematic theaters and also as a dancer. She first debuted in the Malayalam film 'Cinema Company' in which she played the role of Parvathi. Fareed Khan and Mamas were the Producers and Director of the movie respectively.
Sruthi's talent as an actress was first noticed in the Kannada film '
' where she plays the character of Shwetha. It is a language psychological thriller written and directed by Pawan Kumar. The Sathish Ninasam also cast as the lead role against Sruthi. The film premiered at London Indian Film Festival on 20 July 2013, and it was felicitated with Best Film Audience Choice Award.
The project 'Lucia' uniquely financed its operation through crowdfunding technique bringing in investment from 110+ investors. Sruthi's performance in the film 'Lucia' was well appreciated by the directors and was in the race on India's official entry in Oscar. Sruthi later appeared in 2014 film 'Savaari 2' by Jacob's Varghese. She played the role of the love interest of Kitty's character. However, she appeared in the movie only for few scenes. She is currently filming one Kannada film (Jai Maruthi 800) and two Tamil films (Ra Ra Rajeshekhar and Nila) all of which are set to release in the year 2016.
