Plot
Aarya and Swathi visit Kamarottu to spend their holiday at their heritage property and also to carry out their ayurvedic work. Swathi feels something fishy in the house, but Aarya is not able to accept what she says. Soon, they witness a girl who is orphaned and start taking care of her. A paranormal investigator, Sara, visits the Kamarottu house in search of her missing sister. She too witnesses some dark secrets that are immersed in the house. Bhatru, a priest, owned the house once, and lived with his sons Shankara and Maani. Is there any connection between the supernatural powers at the house, Bhatru, and Sara’s sister’s disappearance?
Star Performance
Priyanka fit well in the role of Sara. Her body language is apt for the role, and she adds strength to the character. All the other stars did what was required and make the audience feel real.
Analysis
The plot is okay, but it comes with familiar tropes. However, the stars fit well in their roles and bring the characters to life with their incredible performances. All their roles are designed well. Although it comes with familiar tropes and jump scares, there are a lot of investigation scenes than the eerie things, which makes this unique. The makers try to balance between horror and scientific research. Although the film excels technically with good visuals and editing, in addition to eerie BGMs, it oscillates with its pace at times.
