Sudeep Praises PM Modi For Operation Sindoor

PM Narendra Modi has got a new fan in Kichcha Sudeep.

The Kannada star has written a letter, praising PM Narendra Modi and the armed forces their response to the cowardly terror attacks at Pahalgam in April 2025 through Operation Sindoor.

In case you are unaware, Operation Sindoor is the codename for the counter terrorism attack jointly carried out by the three armed forces of India in response to the terror attacks at Pahalgam. The counter operation claimed the lives of several extremists, including Abdul Rauf Azhar, the chief perpetrator of the Kandhar hijack, as well as Abu Jundal, the chief handler of the 26/11 attacks.

Sudeep also thanked PM Modi for his condolence letter after the passing of his mother. He also assured him in the letter that every true Kannadiga stands with PM Modi.

Irrespective of his controversies, Sudeep has been mostly pro Indian in his approach. Only a year after the Indian Army carried out surgical strikes in response to the terror attack on the Uri base camp in 2016, he dedicated his next movie Hebbuli to them, where an important plot was inspired by the strikes. The movie starred Sudeep as a Para SF commando, and turned out to be a commercial success.
