A simple girl teaching students in her village, Bhuvaneshwari Alice Bhuvi, steps into the city to get a stable job. Her friend, Varu, supports her in her endeavours to find a lecturer job for herself. Varu coordinates many marriage events. During a particular marriage, she meets Harsha, who is a wealthy and young businessman, and starts liking him. Rathnamala, Harsha's mother, is worried about her son as he is disinterested in marriage and leads a wayward life.
In an unexpected situation, she gets bitten by a snake, and Bhuvi proves to be a great help. Rathnamala admires her love for the Kannada language and her pleasant nature.She offers her a job. Though Harsha and Bhuvi meet occassionally, they ignore their feelings for each other. Varu becomes a threat to their relationship as she desires to be the match for Harsha. Will they unite together and lead a happy life like Rathnamala wishes? That becomes the storyline here.
