as Deputy Commissioner Indhira, and Rohith as Raja, Bhairadevi’s son. Bhairadevi is an influential woman in a village who is unreasonable and oppresses the citizens of the village. She dislikes the fact that youngsters are moving away from the village to secure jobs in the city. To prevent that from happening, she shuts down schools in the village so that people won’t be educated. A new sub-commissioner, Indhira, gets appointed in the village. She makes it her duty to open the schools again. Bhairadevi appoints child laborers in her factory, and Indhira puts an end to it.
Indhira also solves the water problem in the village. The villagers start going to her to share their concerns, and she learns that most of their problems are because of Bhairadevi. Meanwhile, Raja falls in love with Indhira, who also starts to develop feelings for him, oblivious to the fact that he is Bhairadevi’s son. Ultimately when she finds out about their relationship, she tries to break their bond. The rest of the serial revolves around the bad blood between Indhira and Bhairadevi, and how they have to get over their differences for Raja’s sake.Â
