Srinivasa Prabhu has made many middle class audiences glue to their television sets as his eight out of nine serials are aired from morning to evening over the times. Srinivas Prabhu beat the record of seven serial a day by Lamboo Nagesh. He had once Muktha, Maneyondhu Mooru Bagilu, Gupthagamini, Kadambari, Kutumba, , Punyakoti and Thakadhimi Thaa in a day. He is known as television serial ‘’ by his fans and followers. Srinivasa Prabhu has stopped dubbing after the controversy over payment created for a film in the past.

Srinivas Prabhu in all his television serials has maintained the different looks either from his costumes or for his roles. He has said in many interviews that ‘I have never made the audiences to think this man has come again in television sets’. His busy schedule in television has made him to reject nearly twenty-five Kannada films so far in his career.

Srinivasa Prabhu had to use dubbing artist for his role in ‘Geethanjali’ since, he was very in the television serials. Srinivas Prabhu has two-children. His daughter Radhika is specialist in painting and he has a son Anirudh, who is studying. He is devoted music lover and is still learning music even to this day.
