Jothe Jotheyali is yet another interesting concept introduced by Zee Kannada. The story revolves around two characters, their stories, their struggles, their journey and how they became one of two. We get to see, how an affluent journalist broadcasted fake news for his profit.
This resulted in the unemployment of an honest school teacher, Shalini. Shalini was a poor lady who had a five-year-old son. She raised him single headedly. Her sole income was from the school, where she used to work. Though fortune slapped her yet, she maintained her docile and graceful nature.
On the other hand, Abhay who was twenty-six was an ambitious, selfish and a rich TV journalist. He was ready to cross all lines to meet his requirements Eventually, the male protagonists had an epiphany, and he asked for forgiveness from Shalini for his mistake. By the passage of time Abhay had fallen for Shalini but Shalini never reciprocated his feelings for his son. She denied because she knew, the society would never accept their relationship. The story takes a lot of twists and turns but ends on a happy note.
The daily soap Jothe Jotheyali is an engaging story. It will give you laugh and tears at the same time. It is a must watch for people who have an inclination towards sentimental storylines.
