“Audience Will Never Stop Supporting Good Films” : Yash

Sandalwood is currently undergoing a severe crisis, with very few takers for Kannada movies.

However, Naveen Kumar Gowda, aka ‘Rocking Star’ Yash continues to be optimistic about the future of the Kannada film industry. At a trailer launch of a movie, the Kannada superstar opened up on how the industry could bounce back to its peak era.

According to Yash, he was also under the impression like most other stars that people are not giving Kannada industry their due. However, if good films are given to audience, they won’t deliberately ignore it, and the industry should strive to make entertaining movies.

Yash last starred in the multi lingual action drama ‘KGF : Chapter 2’, which was a huge blockbuster in 2022. This was also the year when Kannada cinema was at its peak, churning out one banger after the other.
