Gautham Vasudev Menon To Debut In Sandalwood?

Gautham Vasudev Menon is all set to expand his horizons.

In a recent interview, the director talked about his desire to make a Kannada movie, and even though he is not well versed in the language, he shall give it his best.

Gautham Vasudev Menon is juggling between his acting and directing duties. He last directed ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’, which was his debut in the Malayalam industry. Starring Mammootty in the lead role, this crime comedy opened to mixed reviews and earned a lifetime total of 18 crores in comparison to a budget of 10 crores.

Gautham is yearning for a proper commercial success since 2022, when he last directed ‘Venthu Thanindathu Kaadu’, which was a surprise hit, earning nearly 100 crores on a budget of 35 crores in 2022. Since then, most of his projects are either delayed like ‘Dhruva Natachitram’, or have flopped like ‘Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha’.
