Plot

After spending eight years in prison, Alex gets parole. Alex is a man with a golden heart. He has no enemies in prison and he has been loved by the police officers too. How did Alex end up in jail? What did he do in his parole time? To know all these, watch the film in theaters.

Star Performance

As usual, Mammootty has done his role perfectly. We could see Mammooka as a brother, father, husband, friend and a good human. He excelled in all the perception. Miya, Iniya, Suraj and Siddique have done the best out of them. Especially Suraj has got a good performance oriented role with different shades.

Analysis

Sharrath Sandith makes his debut as a director with a heavy emotional subject. We have to praise the casting team for choosing the wonderful set of actors. We could say that the film is targeted towards the family audiences with a lot of neatly mended emotional scenes.  The production values are neat and receive appreciation.

What’s There?

  • Script and the execution are good
  • Performance of the stars is natural
  • Sentiments attract the audiences
  • The second half is interesting

What’s Not There?

  • First half could have been crispier

Verdict

Parole is a good emotional story that impresses the family audiences. If the first half's length had been trimmed, the film would have attracted more audiences. Parole… definitely a one time watch!
