PT Selva Kumar is an Indian film director/producer/Marketing and PRO, who mainly works in the Tamil film industry. Selva began his career as a journalist before start working with film director SA Chandrasekhar, who later appointed Selva as his son Vijay's press relations officer. He briefly moved into production during 2003, financing TP Gajendra's family drama, Banda Paramasivam, which later reproduced in Hindi starring Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 2. Selva started working on his first directorial project in January 2012, when it declared that he had decided to sign up four stars in the lead roles with Nakul, Santhanam, Shiva, and Premji Amaren. Priyamani was reported to have joined the cast, but the movie not officially announced.

In October 2012, the movie re-emerged with a new cast starring Vinay Rai, Sathyan, and Aravind Akash alongside Premji, while Raai Laxmi featured as the film's lead actress. Based on the Hollywood movie The Hangover, Selva’s Onbadhula Guru shooting began in October 2012 and released in early 2013 to negative reviews. Rediff gave 2 stars out of 5 stating The entire movie is like a collection of comic scenes, which are put together to make the audience laugh without much a storyline. In 2014, he started working on the production of Puli directed by Chimbu Deven and featured Vijay in the lead role. The film got negative reviews and became a box-office disaster. Selva’s next movie is Pokkiri Raja released to mixed reviews.

He came in the television industry as a director in 2007 and since then is coming up with lots of remarkable serials in Tamil television industry. Jerrold’s father name is Arockia Dharmaraj. Jerrold’s hometown is Madurai but his current city is Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his studies in American College of Madurai in 1989. Jerrold made his debut as a director with the television serial “Madurai” which was in the Tamil language. There he worked with the known actress of Tamil television industry Sreeja Chandran. The serial shows how students are taught in a school named Kumaraguruparar. The last episode aired on 6th May 2010 with 126 episodes in total. In 2010, En Peyar Meenakshi aired on 6th September on Vijay tv which was another successful Tamil serial directed by Jerrold. The show casts Harsha, Sidharth, Ravinthiran, Sindhu, Balaji, Vadivukkarasi and Delhi Ganesh. this Tamil soap opera focused on a women protagonist Meenatchi and show her journey and challenges she faces in different phases of her life. Jerrold very well showed different situations in general and portrayed it well to show how to face them. This show ended with 520 episodes on 4th March 2011. C. Jerrold came up with a new romantic Tamil soap opera in 2015. This Tamil language serial named Rettai Vaal Kuruvi starred Ashwin Kumar and Pavani Reddy. The first episode was aired on 1st June on Vijay TV. It was a story of a divorced couple where their love rekindles and how that couple returns in each other lives. After the success of his last tv serial, Jerrold directed another Tamil serial titled Neeli. This is horror-supernatural genre based serial starred Chavi, Naveen, Niranjani, and Kavitha. The show came on Vijay tv on 19th December 2016. The story shows how a dead mother protects her child who shared her emotion with a doll Neeli. The show got adapted from serial Neeli of the Suvarna Tv. This serial also premiered on Tamil channel- Shakthi Tv in Sri Lanka from 8 May 2017.
