The movie featured Naresh and Swetha Agrawal in the leading roles. The movie became a huge sensation on its release and initiated the trend for new age romantic and comedy love stories. The movie was further remade in the Tamil language as Kurumbu. In 2006 he worked as a cinematographer in a Malayalam movie named Moonnamathoral. The movie was a suspense thriller, shot originally at Peerumedu in Kerala starring Jayaram and Jyothirmayi in the leading roles. The plot of the picture was based on two growing girls Anupama and Rahel both serving as nurses in a hospital and living at a Krishnapuram soon unusual stuff start appearing with the two of them.

The second half of the film follows when a police and his wife who is a story writer start living in the ancient palace. Soon the wife gets owned by the spirits staying there and an inquiry is done by (Jayaram) the man leading him into the strange shady past of the cottage, releasing a neglected history, thus leading to a shocking  understanding of who the "third someone" is. The film was noted for being the original high-definition (HD) movie to be digitally given to theatres through satellite.
