Date of Birth: 25th October 1988 Shakthisree Gopalan is an Indian singer. She is also a lyricist and performer. Her genres are Soft Rock, Jazz, Western Classical Music and Pop. She was born and raised in Kochi, Kerala. She completed her schooling from Rajagiri Public School, Kalamassery. She completed her graduation in Architecture at the Anna University's School of Architecture and Planning after she moved to Chennai. In 2008, she won SS Music's Voice Hunt – second season. She was auditioned in November 2008.

She made her singing debut with the film Taxi 4777. She is a part of the band "Off the Record” which got formed in May 2009. She began her career as a playback singer after she won the SS Music Voice Hunt title in 2008. She sang for films like Irumbukottai Murattu Singham, Rajathi Raja, and Kattradhu Kalavu. She has worked with A.R. Rahman for many of his projects. She bagged the title track of Bollywood film, Jab Tak Hain Jaan.

S. N. Surendar is the popular Tamil cinema actor, dubbing artist and a playback singer. He was born and brought up in Chennai. His family is a musical family. His sister Shoba Chandrasekar is also music passionate, who has sung few songs in the films and she is also doing live concerts in Carnatic music. Shoba is the popular Tamil director S. A. Chandrasekar’s wife and popular Tamil hero Vijay’s mother. Surendar has sung more than five hundred songs in various south Indian movies. Basically, he is a voice over artist and has rendered his voice for more than 600 films. His voice perfectly suits the Tamil cum Kannada actor Mohan and Surendar has rendered his voice to Mohan in almost all his films, except one or two. His voice is unique and it is loved by the audience. Most of the Tamil audiences had thought his voice is actor Mohan’s. He has also dubbed actor Kannan in the movie Kadhal Oviyam and Nedumudi Venu in Anniyan. Right from 1980, he is acting in the films too. Some of the films in his acting list are Yaaga Salai, Naalaya Theerpu, Ayya Vazhi and Priyamudan. He says his father S.S. Neelakandan is the Guru, who taught him the music. Though S. N. S. N. Surendar has received the Kalaimamani award from the Tamilnadu State Government for his services in the film industry. He also has received the best dubbing artist award from the Tamilnadu State Government in 2005. S. N. Surendar’s son Hari Prashanth is also a child artist, who appeared in Anniyan and Chennai 28. S. Sirkazhi Govindarajan

Sirkazhi Govindarajan was a well-known vocalist of the Tamil film industry. He was born on 19 January 1933. He was born in British India in Madras Presidency. He is also an actor. He is a popular vocalist in Carnatic Music. Siva Chidambaram and Avayambal Ammal were his parents. At the age of eight, he became a child star performing at the Gnana Paal Festival in the Tirupurasundari Temple. He has a son named Sirkazhi G. Sivachidambaram who is also a Carnatic singer, following his father's footsteps. Sirkazhi Govvindarajan graduated with a degree in Isaimani and also in Sangeetha Vidwan from the Tamil Isai College. Consequently, he also trained at the Central College of Carnatic Music under Professor, Sri. Thiruppampuram Swaminatha Pillai. He learned the intricacies and nuances of Indian Music and focussed on Classical Carnatic Music. From 1951 to 1952, he won most of the competitions organized by the Rasika Ranjani Sabha and Sangeetha Vidwat Sabha. Sirkazhi Govindarajan was the honoured winner of three gold medals in the hallowed and austere halls of Sangeetha Vidwat Sabha from Karaikudi SambasivaIyer. Apoorva Krithis of Sri Thyagarajaswamigal, Tamil Classical songs, and Ragam- Thanam-Pallavi are the three categories in which he won in Sangeetha Vidwan. The Government of Tamil Nadu conferred him with the honorary Padma Shri award. For enriching his musical skills, he then went to The Central College of Carnatic Music. Sirkazhi Govindarajan has sung in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films. In 1983, he received the doctorate from Madras University. He has worked with music directors like S.M. Subbaiah Naidu, T.R. Pappa, M.S. Viswanathan, V. Kumar, Ilaiyaraaja, Master Venu, K. V. Mahadevan and T.K. Ramamoorthy. T.M. Soundarajan, S.V. Ponnusamy, TiruchiLoganathan and M.S. Viswanathan. He has also worked with female musicians like P. Leela, P. Suseela, VaniJayaram, Janaki, L.R. Eswari, K. Rani and M.L. Vasanthakumari. Sirkazhi Govindarajan was also awarded the Best Male Playback singer by Tamil Nadu State Film Award. His debut as an actor was in the film "Kandhan Karunai" in 1967 as Nakeerar. He then appeared in "Thirumalai Thenkumari" as Raghvan in 1970, in "Agathiyar" and "Dheivam" in 1972, in "Rajaraja Cholan" in 1973, "Dasavatharam" in 1976 and "Meenakshi Thiruvilayadal". He has sung songs in movies like "Gomathiyin Kaadhalan", "Rambaiyin Kaadhal", "Aaravalli", "Karoukkarasi", "Chakravarthi Thirumagal", "Thalai Koduthaan Thambi" and "Thaai Magalukku Kattiya Thaali" and lots more. Sirkazhi Govindaraj died at the age of 55 on March 24, 1988, in Chennai, India.
