Suresh Thampanoor

Born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, V. Suresh Thampanoor also called Aristo Suresh is an Indian vocalist, film performing artist, a lyricist associated with Malayalam cinema. His family comprises of the father, mother, and five sisters.

He spends the free time to compose folk songs and poems. He lives with his 75-year-old mother in his native village Kannettumukku. Suresh has the responsibility of looking after his sisters and mother. From childhood days, he was interested in movies and plays.

While in school, he would miss classes and go to watch films in the afternoon, then go back home in the noon. That time English films were screened around. He gathered pieces and sold it to support his motion picture tickets. Suresh studied till standard eight.

Suresh wanted to become an actor and director. He attempted at scriptwriting and demonstrated his contents to several directors. Later, he got associated with politics and never got an opportunity to seek after his fantasy. However, he never left his zeal of composing.

Whenever Suresh used to be alone, he composed something and the melody "Muthe Ponne Pinangalle" created in such a way. He writes folk tunes and verse. Suresh used to act in plays on stage with his companions at the railroad station. He is the otherwise called great boss by his fellow circle.
