Plot
Jithin and his friends are in the ECE department. Ranjith, their professor, appears to have something fishy inside. He has something supernatural. Shaji is their newly appointed HOD. When the HOD is targeted, Jithin and friends started investigating Ranjith. Were they successful? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Sharafudheen’s performance is good. Suraj is as natural as usual and has given another decent performance. Sandeep, Saaf, Arun, and Ishan have done justice to the given roles.
Analysis
Padakkalam is a blend of various genres. The director should be appreciated for explaining the situations and characters in the next scenes while we are thinking about them. The cast selection is good. The social media influencers fit well in the comical characters. The character transformation scenes are excitingly made, especially Suraj’s Shaji. Suraj is perfect as Shaji and is given a solid role in the second half. The same for Sharafudheen’s role. Rajeh Murugesan’s music is one of the biggest pluses. Anu Moothedath captured the visuals neatly without hurting the eyes. Editing by Nidhin Raj Arol is quite decent.
