Plot
Ganga, a female prisoner, is pregnant. As her delivery time is nearing, she was admitted to the Kottayam Medical College. Her husband, Raghu, and her father, Sivan, wanted to bring Ganga out of police custody. Were they successful? The rest of the film discusses this.
Star Performance
Sreenath Bhasi impresses us again with his excellent performance. Raveena Ravi has delivered a solid performance. This is her finest performance so far. Vani Viswanath, who made her entry after a long gap with Rifle Club, has showcased her versatility yet again. Lal, Saiju Kurup, and Abin have also delivered commendable performances.
Analysis
We have seen a lot of prison escape movies. This one joins them, but the narrative is different. The characters are perfectly used, and the makers give a fine twist and surprise the audience. Though some plot points enjoy cinematic liberty, the cat-and-mouse game between the cops and prisoners is finely made. Certain situations are beautifully penned with mind-blowing turns, and we wonder about the writing skill of the screenplay writer. The emotional elements worked out well. The director didn’t delve deeply into the character of the pregnant prisoner while discussing the backstory. But revealed about her in the final minutes when needed. The BGM elevates intense scenes.

It is a good jailbreak drama with intense performances. Azadi, by the debutant director, is watchable once!
