"Dumb and Dumber to" is the continuation to the first film that was taken in the year 1994.
Plot:
Lloyd and Harry get back together after 20 Years. Harry checks his mail and finds that he received mail from his girlfriend Freida mentioning that she gave their daughter Fanny for adoption.
Both Lloyd and Harry go in search for Fanny and finds that she was adopted by Dr. Bernard and his wife, Adele. Adele is a wicked lady, who tries to kill Bernard and Fanny, and to obtain all their wealth. She plans to do this along with her secret lover Travis.
Fanny now changed her name to 'Penny', forgets an important package and leaves to the convention. Harry and Lloyd try to give it to her. Travis tries to kill them but gets killed by a train. To take revenge, Adele tries to kill Penny. But Harry gets the bullet and falls. Everyone rescues and saves him. Jeff Daniels, who did the role of Harry, once again proves that he is capable of doing any role perfectly.
He consumes the character within himself and express it on screen. Both Carrey and Daniels gave their performance just like how they acted 20 years back. They both have the capability of making jokes out of anything, at any instant. Though almost six scripters scripted the story, it was plain and usual.
Few of the jokes based on racism, sex, were also present. Those such jokes make us go odd at times. But the film managed the humor level to be on par with the first movie, else it will be a complete flop.
Verdict:
As the title says, it is more moronic than its previous movie.
