Analysis
A Happening of Monumental Proportions is a movie that is filled to the brim with events spiraling wildly out of control; although they come together in a rather haphazard way, so much so that the plot makes you wonder if the inclusion of so many side stories and events all taking place at once was necessary or not. Everything happens fast and simultaneously, and it becomes difficult to keep up. The cast is littered with famous names that make the movie arguably enjoyable and is honestly a funny movie. It has its fair share of hilarious moments, although it overdid the silly stuff multiple times. It’s an excellent dark comedy, staying true to its genre- awkward, dark yet funny.
