The movie Kabali starring Rajinikanth is to hit the screens on coming 22nd. As the schedules for the movie were progressing, Rajinikanth participated in the shooting of movie 2.0 directed by Shankar. Rajini participated in the first level schedules of the movie. He does the role of both a robot and a scientist in the movie.

The shooting of the scenes in which both Rajini and Akshay appear were to commence. In a negative development, Rajini suffered a health setback and went for treatment to America. The crew planned to shoot the scenes after Rajini returns from abroad. But, Rajinikanth’s return to Chennai got postponed. Shankar, who had been waiting for Rajini, started shooting the scenes involving Akshay Kumar.
Akshay Kumar travelled to Chennai and took part in the movie shooting. The scenes involving Akshay Kumar are to be shot till September. In a development, it seems that Rajini would return to Chennai this month end. After Rajini returns to Chennai, the scenes involving both Rajini and Akshay Kumar are to be shot. Akshay Kumar, who has come to Chennai, has decided to view Kabali during the day of release.
