‘Thalapathy’ Vijay clearly knows how to attract his audiences to the theatres.
After the surprise success of ‘Ghilli’ and its re release, the actor is now looking forward to another re release. ‘Pokkiri’ will now be re releasing at the theatres by 21 June, the same day Vijay will be turning 50.

In a way, this might be a part of Vijay’s promotional campaign before he finally turns up with ‘GOAT’ in September. In April, Vijay’s ‘Ghilli’ was re released on the occasion of the film’s 20th anniversary. Despite the film being a re release, it earned a whopping 20 crores within the first few weeks, setting a re record in itself! It would be interesting to see if audience showers the same love to ‘Pokkiri’ as they did to ‘Ghilli’.
