Rajinikanth’s iconic classic is getting a sequel after more than 26 years!

Rajinikanth revealed this himself during a promotional interview for the re-release of this movie.

While he refused to reveal more about this project, the actor has confirmed that Padayappa will come back to entertain the audiences. Rajinikanth is currently working on Jailer 2. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the movie might release around mid 2026.
