Mamata Banerjee At Gopalapuram!

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has just arrived Chennai to pay the final respects to Kalaignar “Karunanidhi.” She solaced Karunanidhi family at Gopalapuram residence. Karunanidhi had been at the hospital for the past ten days and had been getting the treatment for the urinary tract infection. Although the doctors tried a lot, they could not save him. He was announced dead at 6:10 pm at Kauvery Hospital. At present, his body is kept at his Gopalapuram residence. Tomorrow, Karunanidhi’s mortal remains will be taken to Rajaji Hall for the public to pay the final respects. Karunanidhi’s family has requested the government to provide a place near Anna Memorial in Marina Beach. But the TN government stated that there are a lot of legal issues in allotting the place.
