Did Saamy 2 Collect The Expected Amount?

“Saamy 2” is an action thriller entertainer, which is the sequel to “Saamy” that released 15 years back. Saamy 2 has the star cast of Chiyaan Vikram, Keerthy Suresh, Aishwarya Rajesh, “Prabhu,” “Priyamanaval” “Praveena,” Aishwarya Bhaskaran, Gunalan, OAK Sundar and John Vijay. The film is produced by Shibu Thameens in a budget of Rs 30 crores. After five days of release, the movie is said to have collected Rs 20 crores in Tamilnadu and in Chennai it had got Rs 2.3 crores. The worldwide collection of Saamy 2 is Rs 35 crores. Although it has collected a bit lesser than expected, it is a decent amount and it is not a loss, say the reports. Let us wait and watch how the film collects at the end of this week. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam of Mani Ratnam will be releasing this week and probably, it would affect the Saamy 2 collection.
