Diwakar is a playback singer by profession in the Indian film industry who works mainly in the South Indian films. He is also known by the name Dhivagar Santhosh. He is a live performer too. He was born on 26 January in 1990. He is the winner of a Tamil singing reality TV show named “Airtel Super Singer” in its 4th season. The show telecasted on the channel “Vijay TV” from the December 2012 to February of 2014 and on 1 February 2004, he was honored with its winner’s title. He won the audience’s heart, and he got the largest number of viewer’s votes. In its grand-finale episode, he sung the song titled “NeeyeUnakkuEndrum” of the film named Bale Pandiya. The audience gave him standing ovation for this song, and the playback singer named S. Janaki kissed him as well on his forehead. This was a big moment of his life, and after that, his career started shining at a very fast pace. He took part in many other singing reality shows also. Some of these shows include “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2009 Challenge” telecasted on the channel Zee Tamil, Hariyudan Naan on the channel Jaya TV, and Sangeetha Mahayuddham season 2 on the Sun TV. His first recording was for a South Indian film named “Panjumittai” which was directed by S. P. Mohan and produced by Ramesh KV, Vinodh Kumar, and S. Ganesh. He worked for the music director named D. Imman. However, he made his debut as a playback singer in the South Indian film industry with the Tamil movie named “Vadacurry” which was directed by Saravana Rajan and produced by DayanidhiAzhagiri. In this film, he sung the song titled “Nenjukkula Nee” along with his co-singers Vijay Prakash and Ajeesh under the music director Vivek Mervin. It also gave him the chance to work with many other celebrities such as Jai and Swathi Reddy who were the main leads of the film. After that, he sang many other songs including Kannoramai from Kalkandu, My WifeuRombaBeautifulu, Marina Beachula and KalasiKalasi from Purampokku, JiigiruJigiru from Rajini Murugan, and many more. He also sang in many music albums including the songs Thanimaiyile from EnKaalgal, Pogadhae from Pogadhae, Chennaiyile – The Rhythm of Chennai from U – The Epitome of Love, EnVizhigalil from EnVizhigalil, Kadhal Version 1.0 from Kadhal Version, and Kangal Rendum from Kousi’s Beginning.
