Aarani Satyanarayana is a well known Telugu actor who lived in the period of 1898 to 1969. He was born in a village called Sangadi Gunta in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. Aarani Satyanarayana was a stage actor and he started his career on the stage at the age of 14. ‘Gayopakhyanam’ was his first theatre experience and he was given a female role in that. His role as Sathya Bhama was well appreciated during those times. He acted in so many dramas before entering the cinema industry. It was the period of silent pictures, when Aarani Satyanarayana entered the cinema. He was introduced to the Telugu cinema by R. S. Prakash, in the year 1921.
