"Kotha Poradu" is a Telugu romantic drama serial broadcasted on Aha and focuses on a young man named Raju. The serial has only one season with 10 episodes and is set in the backdrop of Telangana. Raju is portrayed as a carefree young man born and brought up in a village. However, life takes an unexpected turn for him when his father dies, leaving all of them in tons of debt, and this causes major problems for Raju. He tries to pay the debts by selling small items, but it soon seems like a never-ending struggle. He gets a limited time to pay the debts, which leads him to move to the city to find a way out to pay his father's debts.
When a filmmaker lands a deal for him unexpectedly, he finds himself dreaming of a new future. In the city, he finds love. When a simple relationship turns into a love triangle, and when he gets betrayed by the woman he loves even after trying, he vows to find a better woman to marry. He returns to the village to clear his head, pay the debts he regards as his sole and foremost duty, and find and love the perfect woman who would see him for who he truly is. This serial is a story of love, struggle, and overcoming the obstacles in one's life, along with the concept of opportunities presenting themselves in dire situations.Â
