She is an active social worker, raising pertinent causes for the society as she with her sister, is the founder of an NGO called “B Force”, working to aid police personnel and their families to fight against cancer. A trained Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam dancer since her early days, she is heavily involved in event management business as well. Despite her demanding professional life she has maintained a perfect balance in her personal life. She was married back in 1994, blessed with a beautiful family and has a son. Brinda Das is a prominent Tamil television actress, best known for her quite popular role in the super hit television serial, “Anandham” which aired on Sun TV in the year 2003. She was praised for her power packed performance as Abirami, an avenging free and independent woman in the serial. Because of her brilliant performance, Brinda gained the “Best Female Villain award” at the Sun Kudumbam Awards in the year 2010 and the “Most Entertaining Television Villain” at the Big FM Tamil Entertainment Awards. Brinda is one of the daughters of K. Mohandas and Santha. Her father is a former Director General of Police who stay connected with its department even after being retired in 1990. However, her father died in the year 2001 and a year later, her mother also died due to cancer. After this, Brinda, along with her sisters, Bindu, Biju and Beena who used to donate to some orphanages for the memory of their parents have decided to do something more. They started the “B-Force” non-profit organization that would reach all the police personnel along the state because they wanted to do something for all the people that their father cared about. At the same time, they are also helping the cancer patients in memory of their mother’s illness. The “B-force” came from their names since it all started with the letter B. It was launched in the year 2007 and they focused on the healthcare of their people. They have held camps all around Tamil Nadu and they have specialists like “Gynecologists”, “Pediatricians” and “Physicians”, they also give out free medicines.

To raise funds for their organization, they use screenings of new movies, conduct a coffee morning for women where participants pay for entertainment, food and games, and they also held a charity dinner.

Brinda had a traditional arranged marriage and since her father is a police officer, she always thought that she would marry someone from the army or a police officer. She does not have a pre-conceived thoughts, she only wants her father to allow her on pursuing her dance.
