Belly Raj was a popular playback singer who was in the main Tamil and Telugu film industry. He was born in Ooty. He finished his schooling in the Nilgiris and also earned a degree in Hotel Management from Bangalore. It was when he turned eighteen, he realized his voice could be of any use. Once he was able to perform in front of a crowd in his village, and he was met with a lot of praise. Just a week later, he informed him that he had been chosen to sing the song that had been recorded by him. In the case of Subramaniapuram, the first song title was "Kangal Irandaal." He, along with his longtime friend(s), excitedly looked forward to the commencement of his very first film. Owing to the abundant FM stations, the song had taken over the public mind and it had turned out to be an almost instant public hit one week after the audio version was first unleashed. Attracted by him, the public praised and admired him and also this was his main drive for continuing to be disciplined and enthusiastic about what he was into. He conveyed to James words of appreciation for being the instrument in his dream coming true, to him and to his father, who stood by him from the very beginning, thank the omnipotent.
He instantly went to the Udhayam theatre on the day of the film releasing it to watch the movie and, on the screen, when the song that he liked the most was played, the audience in the hall started to make a loud whistling sound.
