Ishari K. Ganesh is an actor and producer in Kollywood cinema industry which is the Tamil language. He was born on October 7, 1966, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is also the founder, vice-chancellor, and chairman of Vels University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He founded the Vels Educational Trust in 1992 in the loving memory of his late father Isari Velan, a previous minister in the state government.
Apart from this, he is also the president of Pachaiyappa’s Trust Board and the secretary of the consortium of colleges affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. Ganesh is also active personnel in the Tamil Cinema. He founded a production company named Vels Film International. Ganesh has worked in several films like Dharma Seelan (1993), Doubles (2000),
Thulluvadho Ilamai (2002),
One Two Three (2002), and 2.0 (2018) which starred the Superstar Rajnikanth and
Akshay Kumar. He has also produced films like Devi (2016), Bogan (2017), Sometimes (2018), Junga (2018), LKG (2019), Devi 2 (2019), Komali (2019), Kizhakku Africavil Raju (2019), and Seeru (TBA).
