The particular contributions of the talented director and writer came in the Tamil movies. He was born in Kottayam. He is an Indian Film Producer. He has worked dominantly worked in Tamil Film industry and keeps coming up with some gratifying work. He is the father of one of the most famous producers of Tamil movies, namely Maheshinte prathikaram. He is the renowned Managing Director of Moonshot Entertainments and the Chairman of OPM Dream Mills Cinemas.

Apart from this, he also owns a chain of business enterprises based in UAE and India as well. Kuruvilla began a nation-wide chain of restaurants under the name ‘GudFud’ and ‘Gusto Food.’ He is also one of the directors of the famous cafe ‘Donut Factory.’ Working as a producer and director, he represents both the old and youth in his creations. Da Thadia was his directional debut film. He is a talented creative producer and still has got a lot in him to justify. Being an Indian Tamil Film Director, his specialties are in action and drama. Kuruvilla is the Chief Executive Director and General Manager(GM) of Horatia Globals, a construction company established in Qatar.

He is also the director of a steel fabrication unit Techno Steel based in Dubai. Before doing original movies, he worked in several documentaries and short films. This director and producer were so famous that some major directors worked as an assistant director to him. He has directed more than six films in different languages like Tamil and Malayalam. Besides these type of roles; he is also the senior managing director of a music and art initiative which has its deep pockets in Doha, named Music Lounge and is also the chairman of an Indian software consultancy called Techno Valley.
