D Jayakumar is an indian politician. He was born on 18 september 1960 in royapuram, madras, india. Jayakumar is the member and former speaker of the legislative assembly of tamil nadu.
He currently resides in chennai, tamilnadu, india. On 16th may jayakumar became the speaker of the tamil nadu legislative assembly in the year 2012. He left his position and gave resign on 29 september 2012. He has also been selected for the tamil nadu legislative assembly from the royapuram constituency. Jayakumar was chosen as an anna dravida munnetra kazhagam candidate in the years 1991, 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2016 elections as well.
