Bobo Shashi is an Indian Music Director and Playback Singer. His actual name is Sashikanth. He works in the Telugu and Tamil Film Industries. Shashi was born on the 12th of October in the year 1981. He was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is the son of Murali, who is a music composer. His father works with his uncle, Sabesh.
They are a duo known as Sabesh-Murali. Their duo composed music for many Tamil movies like “Ayodhya” (2005), “Ashoka” (2008), “Adhe Neeram Adhe Idam” (2009), “Irrumbu Kottai Murattu Singam” (2010), and many more. Shashi started his career as a Music Director with the Tamil Film “Kulir 100” (2009) by Anita Udeep.
He made his debut in Telugu Film Industry with the film “Bindaas” (2010) by
Veeru Potla. He also composed music for the Telugu films “Thakita Thakita” (2010) by Sreehari Nanu and “Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?” (2012) by Shekhar Raja.
He also composed music for the Tamil films “
Attu” (2017) and “
Jarugandi” (2018). Shashi not only composed music but also worked as a playback singer. He sang two songs in Telugu. Both of them became chartbusters for fans. The songs are “Em Mantramo” from “Andala Rakshasi" (2012) and “Na Na Na Na” from “Husharu” (2018).
