Plot
Siva, who gets stuck in a forest fire, gets severely injured. His face had been completely damaged and hence the doctors decide to do face swapping. Sakthi was brain dead and hence, the doctors swap his face to Siva. After swapping his face, Siva faces a lot of difficulties. He finds out that his new face has brought in the new problems. So, he starts researching about Sakthi. He finds out that Sakthi and his colleagues are sacked from their company, all on a sudden. So, they decide to do farming. But, due to insufficient water resources, they couldn’t continue farming. So, they start raising their voice to link the rivers. What happened next? What did Siva do to bring Sakthi’s dream alive? Watch the film and find the answer.
Star Performance
Atharvaa has performed well as usual. RJ Balaji has done an excellent job in the character role. Megha Akash had nothing significant to do, but she had done her role perfectly. Indhuja had done justice to her role. Upen Patel didn’t have much scope to perform. Sathish’s comedy works out decently.
Analysis
Kannan has brought in a good script. Although the message-oriented script has face swapping, we could find some traces of previous hit films that carried water issues. Yes, we could see some traces of “

,” as it also showcases the water issue. The director had moved the film without boring. The songs are neat and it didn’t affect the flow of the story. The characterization is good and Atharvaa and Balaji roles are depicted strongly. Indhuja got a good role and it is one among the strong characters in the film. Although there are some logical loopholes, the message in the film makes it worth watching.

Boomerang has a good script and the director has executed it neatly. The film insists on farming and river linking. As it is a good message oriented subject with smart screenplay, it will attract the audiences for sure!
