Suhasini Maniratnam was born on 15th August 1961 in famous city Chennai. Her original name was Suhasini Charuhaasan. She was born in prominent Hasaan family. She was a cinematography student from Madras Film Institute. She started her career as a camera assistant and later became an actress. After her marriage, her name became Suhasini Maniratnam. She is an atheist and presently lives in Chennai; she has a son named Nandan. She acted in all south Indian languages and she was awarded National Award in 1986 as best actress. She worked as a makeup artist, camera assistant, Actress, Dialogue writer and even she directed a film. She was an extremely popular star in Kannada. She started her actress career debut in 1980 through a Tamil film named Nenjathai Killathe, in her first movie itself she won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.

Revathi Tamil Actress


Revathi is a popular south Indian actress, who has appeared in Hindi films too. Born as Asha Kutty, she changed her name to Revathi, for the stage. Right from the beginning of her career, she did not lose her popularity, because of her excellent performances. Mann Vasanai, directed by Bharathi Raja is her first movie. Pudhumai Penn was the movie which showed her in a different angle and she was praised for her performance. Pagal Nilavu is one of her top snatched films and in Aan Pavam she acted as a dumb girl, who lost her voice in an accident. In this film, she paired with Pandiya Rajan and the movie was a super hit. Apart from acting in films, she acted in serials and appeared on reality shows. She is the first popular actress to act in the TV serial, though she acted as a heroine. Iravil Oru Pagal and Penn are the serials she acted in Doordarshan during 1990s. She is the National Award Winner for the Best Supporting Actress in Thevar Magan. She is also a good director and got the National Awards twice for her films Mitr, My Friend and Red Building Where The Sun Sets.
