Sivaranjani is the veteran, talented, and prevalent face of the Tamil film and television industry. She is also popularly known by her other screen name Ooha. Born and brought up in Chennai, she belonged to a middle-class traditional Tamil family and actively participated in theatre plays since her college days. Sivaranjani is also an acclaimed and trained classical dancer. She made her debut in acting on the silver screen with the Tamil movie – Mr. Karthik.
