Neepa Alias Neeba is a famous Tamil actress and choreographer. She is the daughter of famous dance choreographers Vaman and . She was born and brought up in Chennai. She has been acting in serials and movies since her childhood and has been popular on the small screen. She acted in Tamil movies and serials. She is well known to the audience in the roles of daughter and sister. She played in Roja Kootam, a series aired Monday through Thursday at 8:30 pm. She proves to all the new upcoming actors in the TV industry that acting on the small screen is never a hurdle to get opportunities to work in movies.

As her parents are dance choreographers, Neepa got the knack for dancing which helped her win the title in the dance show, Manada Mayilada. She been very famous ever since that show been aired with her outstanding dancing skill. She has been offered to act in movies for supportive roles and artiste roles. Her movies include Thotta, Ammuvagiya Naan, Kannum Kannum, etc. She acted in many serials including Bandham aired on ETV which was stopped telecasting abruptly due to various technical reasons.

She discontinued her education to pursue an acting career, which is succeeding. She has plans to start her own school to teach dance but with a little wait to support it with her income through an acting career. She got married to an industrialist Sivakumar from Vellore and living in Chennai. Even after marriage, she plays in serials and movies in supporting roles.

Neepa has a daughter Shreya and a son, Sharan. Neepa and Shreya took part in the Show 'Super Mom 2.' Besides being an actress, Neepa has worked as a choreographer in a couple of films. Neepa has a younger brother who works in an IT company.
