Mohini is a popular actress who was born Mahalakshmi in Thanjavur on 9^th June 1976. She went to St. Francis Anglo-Indian Girls School in Coimbatore. She made her acting debut with Eeramana Rojavae in Tamil with Shiva Subramaniam in 1991. Mohini worked in 60+ films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi in a span of eight years.
