Suttu Pidikka Utharavu is scripted and directed by Ramprakash Rayappa. The film is bankrolled by Kalpataru Pictures. The movie has “ Vikranth,” “ Mysskin,” “ Suseenthiran,” “ Athulya,” Preethi Kitchappan and Rajeev Prasad. Jakes Bejoy composes the music. Sujith Sarang cranked the camera and Rama Rao edited the film.

A group of youngsters, who need money loots a private bank. Although they escape, the cops under the leadership of Ibrahim trace them and found out that those guys have entered a colony, where there is a dense population. The cops get the info that Ashok heads the looters and they too enter the colony to get them red-handed. Meanwhile, some terrorists are in the colony planning for a bomb blast. It is a bold girl, who is the resident of the colony, showcases what is precisely happening there, to the media people. What happens next? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Mysskin fit the role well as a cop. Vikranth is okayish. Suseenthiran, who makes his debut as an actor is the perfect match. He had done his part perfectly. We hope, he might get some opportunities, soon. Athulya is a template character and didn't have much to perform.

The story seems to be good on paper. Although the director has executed it well, there are a lot of logical loopholes in the film. Characterization is good, yet Athulya’s character should have been designed better. Certain scenes including the songs are forcefully inserted for the commercial purpose. The screenplay should have been engaging a bit. The director should have concentrated more on the climax. Yes, the climax is not much impressive.

What’s There?

  • Performances are okayish
  • Script is neat

What’s Not There?

  • Forcedly inserted scenes
  • A lot of logical loopholes

Suttu Pidikka Utharavu didn’t have a great impact. Yet, it is watchable, once.
